Lt Col. Frederick Harold Gaston Jr was the commander of the squadron, earning a Bronze Star medal for his effectiveness and leadership.
Driver for XO Maj. Harry A. Clark Jr. Seriously injured during the St Lô breakthrough, medics initially left him for dead, but Donald Coffey survived the war.
Major Harry Ainsworth Clark Jr was the Executive Officer of the squadron. He earned a Silver Star for actions in France, in July 1944.
